THE FIRST CRUISER IN BAR


15.10.2014. THE FIRST CRUISER IN BAR


For the first time in the history of port activities in Bar a passenger ship-cruiser was moored at the CTGC Pier II on October 11th 2014 at 6:30h. The ship is MS Berlin owned by a German company FIT. This ship of 140 meters length with crew of 183 members, brought 366 passengers who during their stay visited Old Town Bar, old olive tree at Mirovica, Skadar Lake and vinery Šipčanik. In the afternoon the ship continued its voyage to Taranto, Italy.


This historic moment was marked in a traditional way. The representatives of CTGC and Global Ports, Ms Nataša Dabanović and Mr Cihan Gulec, and their associates visited the ship and presented captain Venetantis with a plaque and a welcome bouquet.


The employees of CTGC JSC in close cooperation with the representatives of Port Authority, Harbour Master’s Office Bar, Customs Administration and Border Police, successfully provided complex logistic services to the passenger ship moored at the part of the port for commercial activities as well as safe transfer through the port area.


Agencies Boka-Adriatic and Luminals organised the arrival of MS Berlin cruiser in Bar.
