Port of Adria the winner of the Brand Leader Award

TIL 2017 is the largest regional conference that has brought together this year over 400 participants representatives of relevant government institutions and professional associations from South Eastern Europe and Danube region, international experts in freight forwarding, transportation and logistics, educational institutions, media and other major participants in the market of transport and logistics.

The company had its own stand at the conference and Port of Adria Team took part in organized B2B meetings where they met with representatives of major import / export and logistics companies from the region.

At the official ceremony within the 4th Business Conference “Transport & Logistics of South East Europe and Danube Region – TIL 2017” held on 5th of April 2017 in Sava Congress Centre, Belgrade, Port of Adria was presented with the Brand Leader Award.

The award on the behalf of the Company was presented to Mr. Velizar Perunović, Commercial Department Director who was also participant in the panel “Element of Sustainable Multimodal Transport” where presentation was held on significant investments and business activities that have marked the period of privatization of company by International group Global Ports Holding. During the presentation, Mr. Perunović emphasized that the Company Port of Adria invested over 11 million euros in equipment, implementation of new IT system, safety and security, construction of reefer station, etc. At the beginning of the year, Branch Office in Belgrade was opened in order to direct cargo to Bar recognizing Serbia as a strategic partner. The long-term goal of the Company is definitely positioning the Port of Adria among the leading ports in the region.
